2002 was mainly a year of bringing in the new for the Peatbogs. With Tom Salter on guitar, Roddy Neilson on fiddle and Leighton Jones on keys, half the band that recorded Faerie Stories has changed.

After initially working on the set, adding two or three new tunes to it and then giging it, we are now working on the next album. The new boys have contributed some great ideas for the new tracks and we 're looking forward to finishing the album and adding more new tracks to the live set.

Highlights of our gigs this year were a very enjoyable gig in Dublin, the International Music Festival in Amsterdam, Celtic Connections in The Arches in Glasgow and some rare gigs at home in Skye, in Edinbane, Sleat and Sligachan.

We hope to be doing more gigs in 2003 to help promote the new album which should be out between spring and early summer. Our gig list will be updated as gigs get confirmed.
