Pictured here is a section of the crowd in Ullapool.
This was a really fun gig where the locals did lots of fancy dancing. If anyone
from the clothing company "Bench" is reading this, please pop a cheque in the
post for the advertising. Please make it payable to C.A.S.H. |
| Although he is now getting well known for his
keyboard skills, the bands young whippersnapper, Leighton, is probably still
best known for his unhumanlike eating abilities. Here he is caught on camera
having just ordered a pre gig snack. It may look funny but there is a serious
side to this story. He has single-handily caused a food shortage in Skye and
local councillors have had to open emergency talks with supermarket chains to
try and make up the shortfall. |

This is a picture of our sound man David. During
a late night drunken rant he claimed that he could not only match Leighton at eating, but
he could do better. But as you can see from the measly portion, he just
made a bit of a fool of himself. Just concentrate on the live sound David and
leave the serious eating to Leighton. |
| Pictured here is Seamus MacLennan who played guitar for us during the start of the summer tour while Tom was unavailable. Seamus is the one with the red specs. He is pictured here during a 70's night in the Cellar bar in Dunvegan. Also in the photo in Leighton, Farquhar MacDonald (funny hair) and David Simons (beardy guy) of Stereoglo. The live music was provided by Farquhar MacDonald and the Highland Disco Dance Band, which featured Iain on drums, Peter on whistles and Seamus on bass. |

This is a picture of the crowd at Hootenannys in
Inverness. Gigs in the Highland capital are always hot and sweaty due to
our tropical indoor climate. |
| This is a picture of our album producer, Calum MacLean.
Here he is pictured after finally finishing off the mixing. Calum was delighted
that we consider fishing as a vital piece of the creative process, as he
only eats fish. Our policy was that if we ran out of ideas we would go and catch
our dinner and start again sometime later. |

This is the original photo by Iain Smith that we
warped and used for the cover to "Welcome to Dun Vegas". We couldn't use the
original because of Roddy's colour unco-ordination. The photo was taken just
beside the studio in Roag within sight of Wacko King Hako's landing place. |
| This is a picture of a sunset in Glendale in Skye. We
like Glendale because you can catch massive Pollock off the rocks there. (Don't tell Leighton. Cod
stocks are bad enough without him finding out about the Pollock
too). |

Unfortunately, we missed most of a great Skye summer
as we did a lot of touring. However we did get some good beech fun when we got
home. This is Varcasaig near Roag. The Cuillins look nice in the background we
think. |
| This is Skye in the winter. The right of this picture
shows the end of Pool Roag where Wacko King Hako anchored his longships while sacking the village after defeat to the Scots in 1263 at
the battle of Largs. He was a bad man. Pity he and his Viking buddys
are not about today really, as I think with our modern weapons we
could easily give them a whipping. |
