Croftwork - New Peatbog Faeries Album

Press Release

Making a giant leap forward... well how many times have you heard that? For once it’s the real deal, Croftwork the new album from the Peatbog Faeries combine everything you’ve ever heard from the band in the past with a distinctly new sound for now.

The Peatbogs are the future of Celtic Music ... with Croftwork they’re the sound of today, the music on their fourth album is steeped in the sounds and flavours of Skye and the traditional flavours of Scotland. With elements of funk, jazz and some very very serious dance grooves. Find yourself transported, put Croftwork on the deck and lie back or dance, with a whole world of musical influences in one glorious whole!

Now featuring an awe inspiring brass section, intrepid grooves and 11 tracks brimming with inventiveness, music firmly rooted in what’s happening right now. The Peatbog faeries have used their last few years of playing all over the globe to great effect in this their latest album, Croftwork, recorded at Phat controller Productions, Roag, Isle of Skye.
