Through his Grandparents, Stu took up Ballroom dancing aged 8 and went on to become British Champion for 3 years running. Finding that drumming was much cooler, he was given his first kit at the age of 11 and his father Colin who is also a professional musician immediately got him into the Newcastle gig scene. After studying music at Newcastle College he went onto work with Holly Johnson, Joe Longthorne, Wayne Sleep and arranged and produced shows for P&O Cruises. He has also worked as a keyboard player, writer, producer and remixer for RCA,BMG & MCA Records and continues to work with promising young musicians from his studio in Newcastle.
