As well as having been a member of the Peatbogs since 1995, drummer Iain has played with most of the leading lights on the Scottish jazz scene and for 8 years ran Glasgow's only regular jazz venue. He has appeared on many albums including New Celeste, Catriona McKay, La Boum, Highland Games, and many comtemporary artists on the Celtic/Trad scene and has appeared on a b-side for Scottish band BIS!
Currently working on two new album projects in his studio on Skye, Iain has various writing and performance projects in the pipeline, these include working with Adam Sutherland on his project 'No More Cages' and involvement with tromboniist Rick Taylor in his solo project. Iain is also touring with Charlie McKerron's Session A9 and is involved in a variety of jazz based projects in Glasgow and Edinburgh' |
