A local of the Isle of Skye Peter Morrison in one of the founder members of the Peatbogs, having played every gig since the first outing as a pub band in 1991. He has been the main tune writer since the early days. Peter was taught pipes from the age of 9 by Cameron MacFadyen with additional help from Nicol Campbell and Angus MacPhie. He played publicly from an early age, playing hundreds of traditional ceilidhs before the formation of the Peatbogs. He is heavily involved with traditional music in Skye and cane be found in session with other local players in the Cellar Bar in Dunvegan when home.
