Our fifth album is available exclusively here from our online shop until it's officially released on the 16th of July. . This album has been about eight months in the making but we are delighted with the results. With ten new tunes, new keyboard player Graeme Stafford adding a contemporary dancey feel and the now established brass section proving a great addition, we have tried to give a fresh edge to the established Peatbog sound. We have taken inspiration for the tunes from our surroundings in Skye, people we have met and places we have been over the last couple of years. We hope you like what you hear!

2. Croftwork

Croftwork is our fourth album. As was the previous album, we recorded it in Roag in Skye. We hope to have created something that will be a surprise to Peatbog fans and first time listeners alike. We have performances from special guests as well as a top class brass section on this CD and have worked hard to try and make this our best release yet.

3. Welcome to Dun Vegas

Released 2003 on Peatbog Records

More Faerie Stories This album was recorded in a cottage on the banks of Pool Roag near Dunvegan, Isle of Skye. We installed a studio in the cottage and then had a party for 3 months, occasionally recording as we went. The Title track 'Welcome to Dun Vegas' was recorded in a whisky haze at 4 in the morning after a session In the Dunvegan Hotel. Calum noticed the cooker clock making an interesting rhythm so he recorded it, tampered with it and asked us to come up with a tune.

Like our first album 'Mellowosity' this album has remained on Greentrax all time best sellers list. This was our second recording and includes the popular tunes 'Folk Police' and 'Caberdrone'.
